Dwight H. Slough-Owner

Dwight Slough has served in a variety of positions within the financial and insurance services industry, including financial advisor and insurance representative, and he is currently the owner of DHS Financial Services.

Dwight received his bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing with a minor in Economics from James Madison University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Alabama A&M University.

Twice, Dwight has been recognized as top producer in individual sales in the insurance industry.

I began DHS Financial Services in 2001 after the company that I was working for was bought by a larger company and no longer required my services.  I am thankful for the time that I was a part of their organization as they taught me many things such as the concept of providing good customer service and it’s importance- if you want to continue in business. 

Every day I must earn the trust of my clients and I pledge that I will always work for your  best interest.  I count it a privilege to have a small impact on the lives of so many people.  My goal is to always put you in a better position then when you came to me.

Just because my organization is small does not mean that I can’t handle large projects.  I have many resources at my disposal from the back offices at the major carriers that I represent to local sources such as attorneys, CPA’s, etc which act as part of my brain trust and willingly partner with me.
